Do NOT Be Fooled by Appearances – Presidium Is NOT Worth It

If you're looking for peace of mind, responsive management, or even basic functionality in your home, look elsewhere. Living here has been a frustrating and disappointing experience from the start — this is not the luxury living that Presidium advertises.

Let me break it down:

False Office Hours: The management office is often closed when they claim to be open. I showed up on a Saturday during posted hours, only to find it locked. I couldn't access the gym as a result. It's not a one-time...
issue — they regularly close earlier than listed.

Unreliable Emergency Line: The so-called 24-hour emergency number is a joke. No one picks up, and no one calls back. If something happens outside of their 9-to-5 schedule, you're completely on your own. From 5 PM to 9 AM, this building is essentially unmanaged.

Unresponsive & Unprofessional Management: Emails go unanswered for weeks. When I followed up, the manager became defensive and retaliatory instead of helping. This behavior is unacceptable from anyone managing people’s homes.

False Advertising: They claim the gym is 24 hours — it’s not. And to make matters worse, non-residents are often seen using the facility, which raises safety and security concerns.

Safety Issues Ignored: Lights in the hallways, corridors, and stairwells were out for days, creating very dark and unsafe conditions. This has happened multiple times with no urgency to fix it.

Elevator Outages: The elevators are frequently out of order. Try hauling groceries up three flights of stairs and you’ll know what I mean.

Constant False Fire Alarms: Fire alarms go off constantly with zero communication from management. These false alarms have jolted us awake at night and disrupted our weekends. Not a single apology or explanation is ever offered.

Fast to Charge, Slow to Help: Despite the numerous issues, they're quick to slap on a 10% late fee (which is a huge amount on these overpriced units) if rent is even a day late past the 3rd. That’s their priority — not fixing real problems.

Presidium gives off a false sense of luxury. The rent is high, the service is poor, and the living experience is exhausting instead of enjoyable. Unless you’re okay with all the issues I’ve listed — and trust me, there are more — don’t rent here.

There are plenty of other places that treat their residents with respect and actually deliver what they promise. This isn’t one of them.

Unsafe, Mismanaged, and from Luxury-It's a Nightmare-Stay Away!!!

Do not be fooled by the exterior appearance or leasing promises — this property is absolutely not worth the high rent, especially if you value safety, peace of mind, or management that takes resident concerns seriously.

Let’s start with safety, which has been my biggest and most constant concern. The area surrounding the complex on Airport Road has frequent crime, and even...
local law enforcement has acknowledged it as a high-risk area. Within the complex itself, I’ve seen late-night loitering, loud music at all hours, and suspicious activity in the parking lot. At one point, there was a hit-and-run right on the property.

Despite numerous resident complaints, management has done absolutely nothing. The security gate has been non-functional for an extended period of time, allowing unrestricted vehicle access. The main entrance door doesn’t lock properly, leading to unauthorized people entering the building. This has created a sense of unease every time I return home — especially late at night.

Now let’s talk about the broken promises. At lease signing, we were shown plans and features that sounded great — a pool, grilling stations, upgraded amenities. None of that has been delivered. The pool remains closed, the grilling areas are off-limits, and amenities continue to be delayed with no clear communication or timeline. Repeated follow-ups with the leasing office have been met with vague answers and a long list of excuses.

This property is owned by a major development company, which makes the lack of accountability even more disappointing. There’s no transparency, no sense of urgency, and no acknowledgment of how these issues are impacting residents. They don’t seem to care, because they don’t believe anything is wrong.

For the price you pay here, basic safety and functional amenities should be a given — not something residents have to beg for.

Bottom line: I would not recommend this property to anyone. If you’re considering it, please take the time to do your research, ask current tenants, and understand what you’re really getting into. I truly regret signing a lease here, and I hope others can avoid making the same mistake.
