Run away!
I moved there in summer of 2019 and loved it: great place, wonderful staff and happy residents. I was NOT the same when I left. New owners arrived in early 2021 and things went downhill very quickly.
Planned and unplanned changes from the new owners were not good. There was a turnover in staff and the grounds quickly became unacceptable. Litter around the complex was not being picked up. Office personnel would not return calls. Hours to common area were changed and access closed. They were... one of the last apartments to open their pool after COVID, and even so chairs and furniture were mildewed and the pool was not cleaned. (If this web site allowed pictures, I would provide them.) Not having a viable pool was the main reason I chose to leave.
My upstairs neighbor moved out 4 months before me. When the apartment’s cleaning crew as cleaning the upstairs apartment, they ran water such that it seeped into my wall. Bella Vida did not correct or repair. Upon me moving out, they charged me for “touch-up” painting. The walls were not in need of touch-up other than the water damage they had not fixed.
I would definitely suggest a second look be done before choosing this place as a home. Just the fact that the new owners cannot seem to keep employees in the office for more than about 2 months should be a big indicator.
