Living at Helix Apartments has been an absolute pleasure! The units are beautifully designed, spacious, and modern—everything feels brand new and very well taken care of. The grounds are always spotless, from the landscaping to the common areas, which really makes it feel like home. What stands out most, though, is the staff. I like the area but not satisfied with electric bill. I lived on top floor for a few years. My ac during the summer would stay on all day nonstop. Towards the evening the temp would reach 80 to 82 degrees inside with ac on. During the day temp average will be 77 and hot. My daily average electric was 11-15 dollars a day in the summer. Winter is 8-9 dollars a day. I put in so many work orders to get the ac fixed but the maintenance would say it's because I live on top floor. I have my new... apartment upstairs and my ac is fridgerator cold. My ac shuts off when it supposed too and reaches 72 degrees when I set the temp and my bill is less than 5 dollars a day. Im paying 200 or less on my electric compared to helix. The ac system needs to be replaced with bigger ac systems if it is going to be hot living on top floor. Read More
