Rancho Ocaso Apartments

Our unit had mold in it and they did not care at all when we told them we were having health problems and we asked them to hire a mold inspector to test the mold to see if it was hazardous and they did not want to do that. Instead they kept going back and forth with us and sent someone to check our unit a week later. I hired a professional mold inspector and the results showed carcinogenic mold present. I told them about it and they said that mold is not dangerous in Las Vegas. They did not… follow the proper steps to remediate the issue, they kept our security deposit, we tried taking them to court annd they never responded to the court order and waited for our lease to expire. We lost a lot of personal items due to the mold. We were never paid back. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT TO KEEP A PEACE OF MIND. I have so much evidence. Lived here for 2 years and I highly recommend the place especially if you have large animals that would be restricted in other apartment complexes. No breed restrictions here.
The staff is GREAT; maybe a bit overworked (cause they also maintain the apartments behind Rancho Ocaso); they work their tails off. The pool is resort style and beautiful, well maintained. I moved here about a year ago and absolutely LOVE it here! There are so many wonderful things about this property I may not be able to list them all... but the staff is so friendly and helpful, the maintenance of the gated community is beautiful, the accomadtions are 5 star (pool, gym, tanning bed!) the apartments themselves are so lovely - very spacious with plenty of storage and huge closets! I’ve had a couple of situations (water heater expired) that needed quick response from maintenance… after hours and they were very fast to respond and handle it! Couldn’t ask for better! we lived there from 2009-2016 the first 4 yrs were great,but that was before manager Silvia took over. that place is a dump dog poop everywhere trash everywhere. the neighbors there are noisey and rude they threaten you. the maintenance staff are a bunch of idiots. Silvia is hypocrite. they don't treat u fair at all. there's also bugs and cops also there. I'm so glad we left there.
