Think Hundred times Before Signing a Lease Here
Unfortunately, there is no option for zero-star ratings-otherwise, that's what this apartment would receive.. My experience at The Republic was disappointing from move-in to move-out.
I was first assigned to an unsuitable unit, then moved into an apartment that wasn't properly cleaned. The worst incident occurred when broken glass, improperly discarded in the trash can by the maintenance staff severely injured my thumb, requiring "five stitches". It's ironic that management emphasizes keeping... outsiders out for "resident safety," yet the only serious safety issue I experienced was caused by their own staff.
My move-out experience was just as frustrating. I was initially told my final month's rent wasn't prorated because of a "new Nevada law," that passed on Oct 1, 2025 but management later admitted no such law applied. After several emails, they changed their explanation to say my lease was installment-based. They are charging me rent, utility charges and parking fee for the whole month of July even when my lease ends on July 22nd and I am moving out by then. The inconsistent communication made an already frustrating process even worse.
If you read other reviews, you'll notice many residents have experienced similar issues with management, maintenance, communication, and move-in conditions. I have never experienced this level of mental stress from an apartment complex in over a decade of renting at numerous places.
I fulfilled every obligation under my lease, but I would not choose to live here again and would not suggest anyone else to live here if you prefer mental peace. I hope management focuses more on improving the resident experience than finding ways to justify poor service.

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear your experience at The Republic did not meet your expectations.
We want to acknowledge the concerns you shared regarding maintenance and your overall experience.... When these concerns were brought to our attention during your residency, our team did work to address them and worked with you directly. We understand that those situations were frustrating, and we appreciate you allowing us the opportunity to work through them at that time.
Regarding your move-out charges, The Republic used an installment-based lease structure during your lease term. The total lease amount is divided into equal monthly installments throughout the lease term, and the lease agreement signed at move-in outlines installments are not prorated based on the move-out date. Our team never intended to provide conflicting information, and we are always happy to review lease details and answer questions to help provide clarity.
We truly appreciate your feedback, as it gives us the opportunity to continue improving our communication and resident experience. We wish you the best moving forward and thank you for being a part of The Republic community.
