Avoid

I'm updating my review. I lived here for 4 years and watched this place deteriorate year after year. Common area tables and chairs are covered in oil and grease. No one cleans it. It is disgusting to sit there. Grill grates are rusted and haven't been replaced in 4 years. Access to a common area is a roll of the dice. Never know when it's off limits. They just lock out your key card. The treadmill in the gym hasn't been fixed for months. I'm just waiting for it to fall apart one day and hurt… someone. The most frustrating thing is parking still. If you come home late, you may have to park 3-4 buildings down and walk. They had it under control for a bit, but it's getting worse again. They just can't control it and refuse to assign parking for some reason. Complaints to the management fall on deaf ears. They are rude and don't want to hear you out. Last review said how they gouge the security deposit. Absolutely 100% true. They gave me a discount when I signed on, and now that I'm leaving, they said they are collecting on it. They are so blatant with it, too, and have no problem taking half of the deposit even after I left the apartment in spotless condition. With the casino going up across the street, traffic is getting bad also. Not to mention, people love to go ripping down this street with exhausts in the middle of the night. Get an apartment facing the parking lot if you do decide to go for it. Avoid the place if you can, and good luck!

Not worth it.

I've been living here for a couple of months now and it's been problem after problems for me. First, the parking isn't assigned . It's "first come, first serve" It's insanely packed that you're forced to park in un-authorized parking and management has no problem calling the tow truck company to take your car. I pay a lot of money to live here and i honestly don't think its worth it. Second, Management is horrible. They have the WORST attitudes. I can't wait for my lease to be up so i can get… out of here.

Great place to live

The staff is great. Our apartment is beautiful. I would recommend living here. I look forward to the dog park being finished and the pool once the weather warms up.

It is convenient to I80 and the Legends, I am enjoying living here.

Loving the Resort Life!

We have lived in our new apartment home at Lyfe at the Marina in Sparks for 2 months and couldn’t be happier! The location is very convenient: right off of US 80, super close to Legends shopping with all the restaurants, and the marina. We have a 3 bedroom/2 bath apartment which feels like a house. It really is upscale living! Our apartment came with a utility room with a new washer and dryer and an attached garage. The kitchen has all new stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops with a… very large island. There is plenty of storage in the apartment. Not only is the master closet a walk-in, but the second bedroom has one, as well! We have had a few minor issues when maintenance has had to be called, but they swiftly took care of the problem. They even have doorside trash pickup in the evenings. Very convenient! We are looking forward to the warmer weather when we will enjoy the beautiful pool and Jacuzzi! The pool area looks like a high end resort! The doggy park is still under construction, but we will be using it in the warmer months. Everyone who works here is very friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a very nice place to live.

Love LYFE At the Marina!
