Terrible management
Terrible, abominable management. This is my third year living in the DVI and I can't wait to leave.
We didn't have heat in several apartments for almost the entire month of February due to a snow storm-related HVAC issue. Management was incredibly poor at communicating when it would be fixed, or compensating us for the fact that we live in a so-called "luxury building" (and pay luxury rents) in order to heat our places with space heaters. Not to mention the apartments are already extremely... drafty, an issue I've brought up for each of the past three winters. To call this a luxury building is a joke.
Every single issue is like pulling teeth with these people. Shameful.
The super is great and the building itself is nice enough if you're ok freezing in the winter, but it's a rip off. Spend your hard-earned rent money elsewhere.
