The Wellington

If your looking for a friendly, beautiful little piece of New York that truly makes you feel happy, then Westchester County's Bronxville village is it. My building, The Wellington, is actually in Yonkers. It sits right on the village line and has a Bronxville mailing address. Everything about it is fantastic.

My rental is a one bedroom, one bath in an elevator building and is a big open space with eight windows. It's so bright and is filled with beautiful natural light. It has wonderful... features such as a nice entrance, beautiful baseboards, crown molding, hardwood flooring throughout, gas, included hot water and heat, and four big, deep closets providing a lot of storage space. It also has a storage space in the building's basement. The bedroom is a really nice size, the bathroom is updated and has a beautiful pedestal sink, and the kitchen boasts updated stainless steel appliances.

The complex is a mix of ages, is quiet, and you sometimes forget you're in an
apartment building. The laundry room is in the basement, is big, and is kept extremely clean. It's never crowded and has a space for meetings or parties.

The building itself is gorgeous and it, and surrounding buildings, have stunning architecture. The grounds and the gardens are maintained beautifully making it a very peaceful and quaint place. It's the only building in the neighborhood with a doorman and the entire staff is very helpful.

The area is extremely safe. It's one of the safest in New York. Everything you need is at your fingertips and is walkable; shops, restaurants, coffee houses, markets, delis, grocery stores, doctors, hospital, pharmacies, post office, UPS, even the train, is just steps away. It's a quick 29 minute ride to Manhattan.

I cannot say enough about how perfect my apartment is and how perfect the location is. I absolutely love walking in the village and throughout the gorgeous adjoining neighborhoods. I really am happy here and love taking advantage of this great place. Read More
