Artsy communal living in Bushwick loft

There's always something fun going on in the building, and you meet so many people around the neighborhood who happen to be your neighbors because there's usually at least 4 or 5 people in one of these apartments. Very DIY lofted room situation which is fun and very communal, but sometimes annoying in terms of lack of sound barrier. I'm willing to squeeze too many people into this small space because the location is phenomenal. Right in the middle of all the up and comings of Bushwick. I do wish... the roof was consistently open, as management shuts it down periodically, and it is a pretty awesome roof.

Leaky Windows and Mold With a Side of #Trendy

When I first saw this space I was floored. It was everything that I had ever dreamed of when I moved to NYC. A stylish loft, full of light...What's not to love?
Well, like the Kardashians, it seems to have all looks and no actual substance. When it rains the windows leak, mold is currently growing behind my bed after a visceral war against it, it's impossible to circulate air, etc...the reasons go on for why I'm leaving after my lease is up. We've spoken to our management company numerous times...
and after empty actions and broken promises, it's proven too much to deal with.
So...in short. It's a cool looking space in a very trendy area. Are you willing to sacrifice your quality of life for that? It's up to you *sips tea*

Living Regel at Seigel

I moved in with three strangers two years ago, and found the love of my life in one of them. The tenants in the building are all creatively focused, and nice. It's really everything you want in Brooklyn.
