Calm Brooklyn Neighborhood
The house felt structured but not strict, which helped me settle in quickly. People mostly kept to themselves, and the atmosphere was steady and predictable.
Stuyvesant Heights has a calm residential feel. After a few weeks I found my regular coffee spot and started recognizing neighbors on the block. It felt local, not touristy.
One small moment I remember: one Sunday morning I went to the kitchen expecting it to be busy, but it was completely quiet. Sunlight was coming through the windows,... someone had left music playing softly in the background, and it felt unexpectedly peaceful for New York. That kind of simple morning made the stay better.
There were minor things typical for shared housing, but nothing that seriously affected my experience. Overall, a solid place to live for a few months in Brooklyn.

A Solid Option for Students
I rented room in this apartment for my last year of college and didn’t really know what to expect when moving in with people I hadn’t met before. It turned out to be a great experience. I shared the apartment with international roommates, which made everyday life more interesting and fun. The location was perfect, and whenever something came up, the team was quick to help

Solid, comfortable experience
The room had a desk, which was really convenient for working or studying from home. It wasn’t anything fancy, but it was functional and did the job well.
The room itself was clean and quiet enough to focus, and having a dedicated workspace made daily routines much easier. Overall, it felt like a practical and comfortable place to stay.

Really good experience
The house was comfortable and had the essentials I needed. I liked that the kitchen was well equipped, and having a washer and dryer in the basement made things much easier. My room had a desk, which was great for working, and the Wi-Fi was reliable the whole time. The A/C and heating worked well. Overall, a nice and practical place to stay.

I lived in the Maisonette Small room for 5 months
I lived in the Maisonette Small room for 5 months. The room itself is small and basic, but it had everything I needed. The apartment is spacious with plenty of common areas, which made it comfortable overall.
The only thing I didn’t love is that the washer/dryer is paid and not included.
