Small 2 bedroom cottage on the beautiful and easily accessible Silver Lake in Hancock. The lake is stunning. There are only 20 or so houses on the lake. The... lake is fresh water and fishing, boating and even jet skis are allowed on the lake. The cottage is both fairly secluded but also very easy to get to from either Route 17 (the Roods Creek diner / blinking yellow light exit) or from Deposit. The cottage was recently renovated and has new stainless steel appliances, new paint, a new wood burning stove, roof, etc., but the real special aspect of this cottage is that you will be on the lake. In the winter, it is secluded and beautiful, and in the summer swimming in the lake is an unparalleled experience. Heat, electric, hot water, and internet / Wifi are all included in the rent. The tenant must remove the snow from the street to the cottage, which is a quite a bit in order to get up the driveway to get to the cottage and also remove garbage. The cottage itself is rather small, even though it has two full bedrooms, a living room, and a very small kitchen. If needed, storage space may be available in the unheated barn on the property.
