hot like a furnace and poor maintenance

I was a subtenant here for the summer and found several problems with the unit. I have lived in other apartments in Ithaca and have never experienced this kind of heat indoors. The construction is such that the apartment heats up like a furnace in the summer and my multiple requests to fix the AC were attended too very slowly and took the entire duration of the stay-2 months. I have lived in other apartments in Ithaca and have never experienced this kind of heat indoors. Also the laundry... facility is poor with bad quality washers. Very poor cleaning of common areas and hallways. It is definitely not worth the price. Several months after my lease ended the owners were still checking up on whether I had paid the rent and I had to show them my bank statement to prove it.
