Pros: This apartment is great because of its close proximity to the E, F & LIRR trains and two bus terminals. There are semi views of Manhattan, which are great on a clear night. Cons: At least 1x/2x a month 1 of the 2 elevators is broken, sometimes with people stuck in them, Pest & rodent infestations are rampant: even though they hire an exterminator some tenants won't allow entry so the infestation continues, They do not give receipts for payment of rent so you have to keep track otherwise... they will charge you interest and can't explain why, you have to wait for repairs because the 1 super for the building works alone & between 2 buildings, they don't shovel the outside garage in the winter so your car is stuck until the snow melts, both the indoor & outdoor garage doors break at least 2x a year & they tell you they are not responsible if your car is damaged or stolen, Tenants have had their cars vandalized in the parking lot, including mine, Mail has been stolen & subsequently identities, anyone can be buzzed into the building and the cameras in the lobby don't work.
