The building management (Amsterdam Property) here is absolutely incompetent. If you live here, just hope and pray you don't ever need management help. If you submit a maintenance ticket, no one responds. Matter of fact, they close the ticket without responding and lie that its been resolved. I spent 6 months trying to renew my lease. The building managers have all been absolute incompetent. The current building manager Hilda Aponte is the most incompetent person I've ever had the displeasure of... dealing with. A terrible liar and does not know her job. Spent 6 months chasing her to send me a new lease. When I stopped chasing after them, she threatened to take me to court to evict me. Which was very confusing because she never in fact sent me the correct lease. The level of incompetence here is unreal. The building super, Narcisco never responds to messages. You'll think he's doing you a favor. They have new supers now so it's finger's crossed, they are hopefully a tad more competent.

Also, there's a lot of package theft in the building and the management does absolutely nothing about it. The truth is these building managers do not care. All they care about is collecting the rent and you have to hold their feet to the fire to get them to resolve anything for you. The apartments are nice; however, be prepared to deal with incompetent management, dirty hallways, and a poorly maintained laundry room.

Forget about trying to reach the super; you're lucky if he responds to a text or call.
