About Dutch Village Apartments
Some apartments have sliding doors that open onto a balcony. One bedroom apartments boast powder rooms adjacent to the baths. Two bedroom apartments have two full baths. Three Bedroom apartments have two full baths and sliding door that open to a…
balcony. Ample, wall to wall closets…light, airy rooms…refuse chute…every detail has been considered to make the life for the Dutch Villager as simple as possible. Individual thermostats ensure perfect climate control. Kitchens are highly efficient, with self-cleaning electric ranges…dishwashers. A large refrigerator-freezer provides convenient storage. A wide pass-through to the dining area beyond also serves as a counter for a light snack.
Just a stone’s throw from where the early settlers built their stone stockade to protect them from the Indians, a cluster of apartments has risen. Dutch Village lies on the very edge of the city of Kingston, site of New York’s first Senate House, within walking distance of department stores, shops, restaurants, and houses of worship; a quarter of a mile from Thruway Exit 19. It’s only 20 minutes from Woodstock, Colony of the Arts. Ski areas to the north are a scenic, forty mile drive. For boating enthusiasts; the mighty Hudson fifteen minutes east. The Esopus Creek offers fine trout fishing as it winds through the valley … and the Ashokan reservoir is said to offer the finest fishing grounds in New York State. Antique shops, auctions, and little towns steeped in history pepper the area. Twaalfskill Golf Course, Wiltwyck Golf Course are a short drive from Dutch Village. The beauty of the area … and the varied interests of its natives weave a rich texture of leisure – a perfect setting for Dutch Village … where they have provided the ultimate in gracious living.
The Main door opens to the Atrium that is the heart of every Dutch Village unit. A huge 25' X 45' lobby expands before you, soaring to a high cathedral ceiling. At the far end of the Atrium, a sweeping Y-shaped stairway leads to the balcony.. providing access to the second-floor apartments..
Every care has been taken to establish a tradition of History and convenience…for those who dwell in Dutch Village.

Lived there for 4 years
I don’t know what they consider “affordable “ but we were forced to move when they kept raising rent! Also when we left the pool wasn’t even functional and some lame excuse that it needed repairs, conveniently right after COVID! And it seems like they’ve changed management again which they did twice when we moved there from 2018-22!!!
