Great Management
I have rented from the owner (Andy) for multiple years in Syracuse before I had to move out of state. I needed to move back to Syracuse but Andy only had this place available. I don't have a car so he was a bit skeptical that I would like living there. I didn't like Syracuse when I lived there but I absolutely enjoyed living in Liverpool! The building is super close to the onondaga lake park and biking on the trail was one of my favorite things to do. The area is bikeable for the most part which... is awesome as I like being able to get my errands done on a bike. People are pretty friendly and I have gotten to know quite a few wonderful people. There are always things going on and events to go to.
Hot water is plentiful here! I lived in big apartment complexes and I have always struggled with hot water running out in 15-20 min. It has been so nice to be able to take long hot showers here. Not having to pay for it is an added bonus!
Initially, I wasn't happy about the lack of W/D in-unit as I have grown accustom to it in the previous places I lived. However, I honestly liked the set up in this building. You don't have to pay for laundry and it is super fast and effective and very few residents per W/D. I used to wait for 2+ hours for my stackable dryer to finish a cycle and even then, clothes come out somewhat damp and the washer would take ~1 hr. In contrast, The dryer here dries everything in 30 min! The washer is done in 30 min too and you can wash a lot more than you could in a stackable W/D. So, even though, you lose some convenience by not having W/D in unit, you gain a lot more by having free and fast W/D with almost no one else using it!
Maintenance issues are handled super quickly and it honestly feels good to live in a property where the owner and his crew truly care. It feels like a family.
Andy is very reachable, personable and cares about your comfort. He installed bike racks in the laundry rooms to accommodate my bike. He worked with me on my lease dates and always made sure to return my security deposit in full and promptly.
Kristen, who manages the accounts and decorates the apartments is super nice. Paul and Tim, the maintenance guys are great and have helped out with whatever I needed.
