RUN! Run far from here and fast! We cannot move out of here soon enough! Absolutely incompetent management that shouldn't be allowed to manage a lemonade stand !

If you told me actual CHILDREN were managing this building, I would NOT BELIEVE YOU? Why? Children would do a better job managing this place!

There is not enough space in this review, or the world for me to express how frustrating it has been living in this apartment with such an incompetent management team.

The elevators NEVER work.... The elevator company is literally here every day working on them YET THEY STILL ONLY HAVE 50% IN SERVICE ON A GOOD DAY! And people have started getting stuck in them! So, you'll get home from work, wait in a 20 minute line to get home, then GET STUCK! And management literally does not care at all they will not help get you out!

Trying to leave your home to go to work in the morning? Good luck! There's only one elevator in service and everyone is trying to use it. At first it was nice living so close to the train, now ? I'd rather live 15 minutes away and walk then get stuck waiting for 30 mins on my floor! A total joke!

The noise! The noises are unbearable. They say they give plenty of notice when they are renovating units, but THIS IS A LIE! They do not care at all about you or your family.

On top of all this, they charge "luxury" pricing. Well let me tell you, there is no luxurious bone in this apartments body. How about stop labeling yourself as such, because guess what- luxury apartments having working elevators and an actual team managing the building that know what they are doing. Once you can the basics right, then try to go for luxury, but this so not that- it is laughable.

At first it was not bad at all, but when they changed management companies a few years ago, everything has gone downhill since. Not slowly, but one huge devastating landslide that's left this place a husk of its formal self lacking any redeemable quality whatsoever.

I will add that the front desk and maintenance staff do actually try, but it is very clear management does not give them much to work with. The front desk is usually very helpful and friendly, but unfortunately that is the only redeemable quality this apartment has.

Lived here for two years. It’s the worst place I’ve ever lived. Hot water interruptions frequently, recently 3 days in a week span. Elevators need to be replaced and are constantly failing and people getting stuck inside (happened to me twice alone). I’ve also seen the pests others are mentioning (roaches and rodents). Also, because this place is one of the most affordable in downtown New Rochelle, a lot of the tenants are careless and disrespectful as well (pets going potty inside and not... cleaning up & trash). The pool is disgusting and over crowded due to size/tenant ratio. I’ve seen the pool inspector shut it down personally. Maintenance does a terrible job and even lies about work. There’s been nothing but problems during the 2 years I’ve been here. They have a female concierge who is inattentive, and gets an attitude when you ask her to do her job. Packages are constantly lost. Everything breaks within the apartment. Appliances are dated and always breaking. They are under new management which is making needed improvements but the original staff are still here and are useless. Utilities costs and way too expensive and not mentioned prior to moving in. When I moved into Halstead Station two years ago I really loved it. The building was clean, management was responsive and helpful. Over the past couple of months, I've had issues with the management miscalculating my rent payments. If I was not checking my statements meticulously, I'd be overpaying (and the rent is already high). It has exceedingly difficult to get in touch with the management office via phone or email to have their mistakes resolved.
