Not a luxury building!
I've lived in several doorman buildings run by property management groups in NYC and this should not be considered a luxury building. Forte Select is separate from the main building and as such the staff DO NOT WORK FOR FORTE SELECT! Whenever you have a maintenance issue, forte select residents aren't prioritized. I have had success when I contact the Forte Select email directly when I've had an emergency but don't expect to be able to use the standard building app for maintenance requests. The... Mercedes residents (the "Lower tier" apartments) are prioritized.
The doormen are lazy and do not care about following any sort of procedures/standard with packages (personally package delivery is one of the main reasons why I live in expensive buildings such as this one). Be ready to track all packages yourself and then inform the doormen when you have a delivery (and when packages have already been picked up as the app and the TVs in the lobby will still show you have a package to be picked up).
The Amenities sound great but these are run through a separate service so hours of operation and use are dictated by a third party. If you want a building with amenities, there are much better options where the amenities are run through the property management group and can actually be used on holiday evenings. When using the pool, I hope you enjoy the smell of horse manure as the building is over a horse stable.

The worst living experience I've ever had. They mean well, but it is a sterile environment that feels very corporate. This does not feel like home. The amenities close too early to enjoy a nice evening with friends. You can only invite 2 friends over per month. Too many rules and they just added the vax mandate for amenities. We feel like just a number with over 1000 units.

Instrata at Mercedes House has some of the best amenities in the city! The views are unique building layout, make Instrata a wonderful place to live. We also love the area for the wonderful restaurants and close proximity to Central Park!
