River Edge at Nyack

Really Great experience living at River edge Apts. I would highly recommend.
Michelle the Property manager has been great and very helpful to my needs.
Nyack is great town to live in and River Edge is super close to downtown area and local shopping.

If you love noise than this is the place for you Situated from 35ft to max distance of 80ft to the Tappan Zee Bridge, you will get plenty of noise, everything from the Ambulances and Emergency vehicles the nearly 40000 to 50000 Semi Trucks a day with their air brakes chattering for miles down the highway not to mention the some 260,000 cars a day that get stuck in rush hour every morning and every evening rite in your back yard. Don't get fooled by the sound wall it's 10ft lower than the old... one and the wall across US287towards the south is higher so all the noise comes back to us , believe me I know that for a fact! As far as dusting just give up you'll never get ahead, you'll never beet the highway dust very heavy. The so called Management removed the once beautiful pool to put in a half completed dirty parking lot half paved half mud, with a light that looks like it's straight out of a prison yard screwed to the building with a untreated 4x4 piece of wood and grey high voltage wires dandling in the wind (which I'm sure isn't up to city codes), not to mention if you need something done for your Apt. good luck with that, all that for hefty fees $130 for late fees and water and sewer fees every year Read More

Besides charging you water and sewer for a rental property, be careful dealing with mangement which is located in Plainview NY. When vacating my apartment, which I got professionally cleaned , they kept 450.00 of my security for cleaning the bathroom and carpeting.The property manager on the premises resigned 4 months after working with personnel in Plainview. The "go to"person/super on property is very shady.. Please reconsider this property. MANGEMENT are THIEVES.

They never inform any of the new tenants about the water and sewage surcharge that this year is $352 per year, nothing ever gets repaired, and if you complain about the lack of work and bad attitude of there so called apartment superintendent, the property management company ( Eagle Rock Properties) will say that they have never had any complaints in the past and brand you a troublemaker and start a harassment campaign to make your living experience there as miserable as possible. The... pathway lights are a embarrassment, in most places they are just poles with no light or caps on them and they (all of the lights) don't even turn on, in some areas makes it very unsafe to walk at night. The hallways are dirty and don't get cleaned for months, the laundry rooms are filthy, and the central ventilation systems for your bathrooms and kitchen don't work, and with the new bridge construction is no more than 75ft from the buildings, the dust, light and , noise pollution is horrible. As far as the pool goes, they were supposed to make it into a parking lot (being they don't have any parking for visitors ) Eagle Rock has closed the pool and has made no efforts to start construction for the new parking lot and Eagle Rock has also no intensions of compensating the tenants for the removal of the pool or the horrible living conditions that the highway and bridge construction have cause there tenants, instead they just increase your rent. You get a water charge of apprx. $260 a year...over 12 months..$21.00...no free water also ..NO POOL...and the fitness closet is just that....nice but extremely small.
