The... upstairs is lovely we are hoping to restore the outside & downstairs now to its original beauty. Definitely a work in progress. We lost family members before and during Covid and life changed quite a bit so it was stopped halfway & it’s time to start again. We live downstairs & the rooms for rent are upstairs. One of the oldest homes in area. It’s two large connected rooms with lots of storage shelves ,drawers ,a built in desk ,& both rooms have lots of windows and light, wood floors, & a 1920s subway style full bathroom. Very clean & is shared with 1 other person.
Close to Sayville beach, park, town, train, ferries ,everything really. Pets okay. We love animals. You can have a fridge, air fryer, microwave, coffee pot & whatever you need for a little eat in kitchen. There is ample space to make a small eat in area. It’s not a share house but the rooms are larger than most studios I see so it’s much like having your own apartment. All the utilities are included as well as WiFi-Netflix Hulu & Prime. Garbage pick up, street or drive way parking. Very safe area. There 2 cats & dogs here & although you may hear or meet them in the yard or in passing they will not be in your space ever. You will have a key for your room & the front door. You can put an A/C in if you prefer over fans. Just must be an energy star one. We ask that you value & respect our home & privacy just as we will yours. We are LGBTQ friendly, & just looking for a good reliable peaceful person to join our home. The house needs power washing and paint (cedar shingles) & we are working on the landscaping it’s quite a large property so it’s a big job. A work in progress.
