Jordache Park Apartments

I moved out about month ago. We received 5% of our security deposit back. I have been reaching out to the leasing office for roughly 4 weeks and have not gotten a response. I have called not once but up to 3 times a day to try to get ahold of someone and I even emailed many of times. Finally got ahold of Jen the manager and I asked what happened to the other 95% of the deposit. She told me it was for cleaning fees and a black stain that was on the ceiling. 2 weeks before moving out I had talked… to Jen and asked her what she wanted done she said nothing just leave they will take care of it. The black stain was from a leak in the roof which maintenance was made aware of and they said they "fixed it". They fixed the leak but not the damage and now want to charge us for it!! This property is owned by Landers Management. They do not plow the parking lots, they do not answer maintenance requests, and do not return calls or emails. There is no upgrade or upkeep of anything and if something breaks it is never fixed yet you are paying a premuim in rent. They allow any number, type or weight animals contrary to their policy. Loud dogs that bark are never taken care of. Dogs run around with no leash. Children runaround unsupervised at all times of the day and night. I have lived there for 17 years. Up to 10 years ago I would rate a 5 since it has gone down hill bad time. Our roof leaked so bad we had streams of water and bubbles under the paint. I was promised a new roof in fall but then it was not approved. On top of that new neighbors moved in that believed the rules we all sign with our lease did not apply to them. Quit hours, parking, garage etc etc. we had pictures of their vehicles blocking the garage I paid for. A water ski vehicle parked… in the handicapped area for atleast 6 months. My roof leaks in both rain and snow, and has for years. The only way I was able to get ANY kind of response from the management was by calling the parent company, i.e. the people who sign their paychecks. No email or voicemail is responded to, there is never anyone in the office, and everything screams that the management DO NOT CARE about people who live here. Terrible place run by terrible people. DO NOT LIVE HERE.
