Good quality place for the price

I lived at Clayton Village for 2.5 years in a 2B apartment and had a great experience. I found the community safe, quiet, and cozy, well located just off Vestal Parkway. The apartments are not the most modern, but I didn't mind. I found that for the sq ft and location, the price was unbeatable. The property manager and maintenance team are great guys who are understanding and very responsive when issues arise. Although I didn't have many issues while living here. Some amenities that I loved are… the included storage units in the basement, utility sinks near the washer/dryers, and ample parking. I'd recommend this place to someone looking to rent in a safe area and who wants to get a good deal on rent with many of the luxury apartments in the area charging double for added in gimmicks. My only downsides would be that there is no in-unit washer/dryers and only some apartments have dishwashers. But overall I enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend Clayton Village!

Never seen such horrible management!

Aside from the apartment being really small, that's something I was able to manage with, but having such horrible management that's just to much!
Every interaction I had with them They were extremely rude, and condescending, they would randomly, never followed through, would come pounding on me door if they needed something, never polite or civil, really horrible. I've had throughout the years many landlords but never was I treated so poorly.

We have recently had a change in management, and have never received any complaints like this directly from any of our tenants. If you would like you are… more than welcome to reach out to the Leasing Office 730am-330pm Mon- Fri, they will be more than happy to discuss any issues you are having. Generally no one would come knocking on your door unless there was a maintenance emergency that needed to be dealt with in a prompt fashion. Again we are sorry you had a bad experience here but wish you well in your future endeavors.

This is a great place

I am unsure of why the negative reviews, but people do love to complain about anything and everything.

I can say this complex is well maintained, quiet and close to everything. At this point in our economy, price wise it's pretty equivalent to many other places for rent, unless you don't mind slumming it to pay less money. I enjoy living here and if I need anything the property manager and maintenance guys are prompt to respond. I'd recommend living here.

Overpriced and No privacy

The greater Binghamton area has much more affordable apartments that are either the same size or bigger. Maintenance does a great job although all the employees are always out smoking cigarettes during the day. I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere if you are in need of a quiet affordable apartment.

We do have a NO SMOKING policy here, so I'm glad in a sense to hear the Maintenance guys were… outside and not in a building smoking. Best of luck!!!

Overpriced and No Privacy

Similar apartments are much cheaper in the greater Binghamton area. The property is maintained very well but employees are constantly out smoking cigarettes during the day. If you are looking for an affordable quiet apartment I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
