Fenimore Trace

I've been here for 2 1/2 years. Everything advertised is correct. Once you lock into a lease, the rent stays relatively stable. Even with inflation, the annual increase has been very little and reasonable. There are no surprises with new leases. Water, hot water, refuse removal, and heat, are all part of the rent. Stay warm all winter long without worrying about what the bill will be. There is abundant parking for two vehicles and still extra spaces.

Any maintenance requests have been… repaired quickly and efficiently, including replacement of appliances when needed with new equipment. Central halls and stairs are cleaned frequently. Snow removal is done extremely well, even to the point of shoveling paths between parked cars. The grounds are well maintained and kept attractive.

The people who work here are so very friendly and efficient. You will always receive a smile and big hello. The apartment complex manager is especially very efficient, kind, and cheerful. It's so nice to walk into the general office and be greeted with someone who cares about all of the residents and strives to resolve any issue that might arise.

Summertime includes a very nice pool, with a lifeguard on duty. Plenty of lounge chairs and space to enjoy this area. There are also fitness machines next to the office. There are nice picnic tables scattered around the property and grills for cooking in the outdoors. Everything is kept very clean and in good working order.

Tri-City has many apartment complexes in NY. You will often see their vehicles where they continue a preventative maintenance program to keep everything looking nice and making sure the infrastructure is kept safe and reliable for the residents. They don't wait for a roof leak to develop, they place roofs on a replacement schedule. They do the same with the boilers that provide hot water and heat. They take care of the buildings and grounds with expertise and pride.

Washers and dryers are always maintained in each building. They were all recently replaced with new ones.

Before choosing Fenimore-Trace Apartments, I looked at many others in the area. I think what sold me the most were three things: 1. A knowledgeable and friendly staff, 2. Cleanliness of the grounds, central hallways, and apartments, and 3. Large apartment rooms, closets and living areas.
