Someone who does not live here has been getting into the building and stealing packages. The building requires a key fob, yet management has never put a door on the mail room. Once anyone gets past the front entrance, residents' packages are exposed. There's a camera, but a camera doesn't stop anyone; it just records the theft.

Management knows this is happening. Instead of addressing the actual cause, their recent communication puts the entire burden on residents: pick up packages within 24... hours, monitor your tracking, don't hold doors, and if something is stolen, file a police report before you're even allowed to report it to the office. They explicitly state they're "not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or missing packages."

The problem isn't that residents are careless. The problem is that someone is trespassing on private property and management has chosen paperwork and disclaimers over installing a door. Someone who can get into a secured building and reach resident property is one step away from following a resident to their unit. This is a safety issue, not a package issue, and it should be treated like one.

I was looking for an apartment and noticed that they have one studio available so I sent them an email. I waited for 2 days however no response to my email. I then call them and left a voicemail, however no response to that either. I then had to drive down to their office to talk to the leasing agent who told me that there is no availability. I wonder how do they respond to the residents in case if something is broken. Nice location though.
