Southgate Towers is an apartment community in Bedford, OH
Southgate towers is excellent because there hallways are very clean. The laundry room is clean in most apartment buildings the garbage chutes are closed down you are forced to only take garbage to dumpsters. Not a Southgate.if you have any problems inside your apartment the fix quickly great place to rent very clean.

Friendly
I moved here from Utah, so I was not able to see the apartment before moving here. I admit I was worried what I’d be walking into. But, now I have been living here for four months so far, and I have been very pleased with the apartment, and especially with the office staff. I always get treated very well. My son and I have both noticed that the neighbors are very polite and friendly, too.
I had a maintenance request and it was taken care of faster than I could have ever imagined!
At this... point, I HIGHLY recommend Southgate Towers. I will update this review if anything changes.

Scam Artists!!!!!
These con artists rushed me to put a $299 hold fee down on an apartment I was approved for but that was NOT available until November 1st! I was asked to come back in 2 weeks to sign the lease. When I found another apartment available now, then called them to cancel my application, they said I forfeit my $299. WHAT!?!?!? So now you get my $299 PLUS the next applicant's $299 for the same apartment????? The apartment isn't even ready now. Why are you retaining my fee when you can still rent that... exact apartment in the next few days?
DO NOT PAY THAT HOLD FEE unless you are moving in immediately or can afford to chalk it up. Fair warning.

When touring prospective residents on our property, it is a primary goal to make you feel comfortable, but also to be honest about how... quickly the apartments do in fact lease. We feel that being upfront about this serves as a benefit to someone touring our community and seriously thinking about making Southgate their home. If we are your choice, we do not want you to be unable to lease due to someone else reacting sooner. We do apologize if it did not come off that way, and will surely stress this and improve the tone of our presentation. Fortunately, it sounds as if we were able to move beyond this issue and found you another option that better suits your needs here at Southgate Towers! Thank you Charisse for choosing us again!

Wouldn't recommend to anyone I know
I was told my apartment was ready once I moved in, but there was a laundry list of things that needed to be fixed. I didn't have cabinet doors in my bathroom the first 2 1/2 months of staying here, there's no freight elevator so the move in was harder than it needed to be, I've been here 9 months and I just received a working mailbox about a month ago which caused me to receive bills late because I can never make it to the office in time to check if I have any mail. The list goes on. My reason... for rating 2 stars is because the staff is pretty friendly, the apartment is 5 minutes from where I work and the building is well kept.

l have a nice apartment
l would love to move to virginia beach where my son live but cant afford it right now since l have retire from my job l had other thing to take care of but one day l will pack everything l have and move to virginia beach to be with my son and his Family .
