Nice in many ways, but floors/ceilings like paper

The apartments here are visually appealing. The finishes are reasonably polished (though appliances really should be nicer, given the monthly rent.) Maintenance is responsive. Dogs are allowed and welcome. The neighborhood is pleasant and quiet.

Unfortunately, there is a major problem: the floors are so thin that you can hear EVERYTHING going on in the apartment above you. I mean every step. When my upstairs neighbor pulls out a chair, it sounds like loud feedback from a speaker. I regularly… wake up at 2am when the person living above me walks from their bedroom to the bathroom.

It's unfathomable to me why a company would invest so much on an apartment building and then skimp on basics like insulation between the floors (and elevators -- there's only one for four floors of many apartments, making for some very long waits.) It's a shame, really: it could be a nice place to live. But the noise is simply intolerable. Obviously, I won't be renewing my lease.

Laid back living in a great location!

Walk at Edgewater Park; easy access to east, west or south burbs; dog friendly neighborhood; well maintained building! Cleveland at its best!

Great Property and Location

I moved into the BPL shortly after they were built and have lived in two different style units since that time. The apartments are elegant, and the location is great for people of all ages. The current management is also very helpful. Very happy that I get to call BPL home.

Luxury Living in Perfect Location

Love living in Battery Park Lofts! If you are looking for quiet lovely apartment living in Cleveland that is accessible to everything-this is it.The building is well maintained and excellently managed. The units are very nicely appointed. Lake views are amazing!! You can take your daily run or walk at beautiful Edgewater Park. Get downtown in minutes. Great coffee shops, bars and restaurants very close at hand. Excellent place to settle in Cleveland.

Battery Park is more than an apartment complex, its a luxury lifestyle choice!

I moved into Battery Park Lofts a little over a month ago. I love it here! Melissa, the property manager, is super friendly and goes above and beyond for her residents. There are many great attractions, including Edgewater Beach which is just 15min walking distance. From the brewery across the street to the Gordon square arts district just a few blocks away there’s something to love for everyone. The high ceiling, breakfast bar and picturesque windows leave little to be desired. Battery Park is… more than an apartment complex, its a luxury lifestyle!
