Bender Apartments

The fire alarm goes off every week and they still haven’t fixed it. It went off at 4am today (it’s almost 8am and it’s still on) and we called the emergency line and the lady was so rude.

The landlords are AWFUL!!! This old building needs a lot of repairs. First, even the most basic amenities do not exist. They are too cheap to even put handles on drawers so you are forced to pry them open with your nails anytime you want to use them. The appliances are from the 1970s. We've had our heat break in the dead of winter, our a/c break in the summer (to the point OF DANGER!!! We had symptoms of heat stroke and had to evacuate and it took 2 weeks to repair despite daily phone calls... - - our rent was never lowered throughout the whole ordeal!!!). We have had nothing but problems with the landlords. Seriously, do not live here. I've had my car broken into three times in the short time that I've lived here.
