This is my 5th time posting this.

Essex deletes reviews constantly. This is the 5th time I am posting this.

They are nefarious and this battle I have been having should tell you everything you need to know about Essex Boutique

I had an awful experience living there and wouldn’t wish it upon my worst enemy:

How to tour essex:

Step 1: Play music off your phone on the kitchen island and go stand in the bedroom and hear how little noise is blocked out.

Step 2: Check all the door frames… and fixtures and see how poorly fit together everything is. The doors have massive gaps between the frame and this contributes to the aforementioned poor noise. These gaps skyrocket your energy bills.

Step 3. Go open a window and see how poorly made the window is. Feel the draft around the sides and realize that’s your money going out the door in heating costs.

Step 4: Ask how you pay for electricity for your unit, the building, and about American Power and Light. AP&L is a sub metering company who can change your rates on a whim. Ask who AP&L is owned by.

Step 5: Ask the leasing agent if they would ever charge for dirty BASEBOARDS. If they say they wouldn’t, show them this review. They will do anything to get your money.

Step 6: Ask yourself what type of company you want to lease with. I would suggest you look up the owner of preferred living and see if his political values align with yours.

Prospective renter, I urge you to stop what you are doing and to just find another apartment. You can do so much better for yourself.

A Grandview Gem!

I love the Grandview area and enjoy all the activity. When I decided that I wanted to live in the area, my biggest challenge was finding a place that was quiet enough to work from home but close enough that I could still enjoy everything Grandview has to offer. At Essex, I found just that!! The building is smaller than most communities but luxurious and offers everything I need! The Starbucks Coffee Bar starts off my day and occasionally I’ll even take advantage of working outside in the… beautiful courtyard. Even if I have to go into the office Downtown, it’s a short commute with only a 9 min drive. Fabulous location, amazing and attentive staff, always clean and friendly neighbors. If you’re searching for a new place and you enjoy Grandview as much as I do, Essex is the ONE!

Location and Managment

Essex is located in a fantastic area in Grandview. Its proximity to all my favorite places is amazing and allows me to enjoy my time after work. In addition to the great location, the management is excellent and truly cares about its residents. Waking up in the morning to a clean clubhouse with freshly stocked coffee is the highlight of my day.

Great Apartment in Grandview!

I have loved my experience with Essex! My apartment has great natural light and windows! This was a must for me! I love getting coffee in the mornings and the Peloton membership is the best! If you're looking for a great apartment, pick here!

Kourtney + Essex are Wonderful!!!

The amenities are super clean and so well maintained. Kourtney has been super attentive and great to work with while searching and signing a lease. The apartments have tall ceilings, top of the line appliances, and nice attention to the detail when designing things like windows, the barn doors, counter tops, sinks etc!
