Mixed Results
The good:
The maintenance staff is really responsive. I talked to the repair guys and I guess there are several people living onsite for weekday repairs and then there is a shared crew across the various Thrive buildings for weekend emergencies (which saves us once). They also let us use the laundry machine in the empty unit next to us while ours was getting fixed. The grounds were also kept in pretty good shape and were generally well cleaned.
The bad:
I lived on the third floor of the Thomas... annex (the I units, between the parking garage and the BMW office building) which were not great to live in. Everyone's HVAC heat exchangers are right on your ceiling so you always had a loud low humming noise during the summer and winter. It was loud enough to rattle the ceiling lights. We also had a lot of problems with our trash not getting picked up and our packages not being delivered. I was constantly emailing the main office, but it didn't seem to change anything. They also refused to put the actual address of the annex building to help the delivery people so 2/3 of the time when I got a package I would have to hunt it down somewhere on the property.
