Worthington Gardens Apartments

I have lived here for the last year and just renewed for another year. Straight to pros:
- nice and friendly office staff; they are considerate of residents' needs and rights; they will also host lots of community activities like reading clubs and yard sales;
- good security with property gates; maintenance responses are also quick and effective;
- great natural environment with well-cared greenery; can have a great view of the woods if your balcony is facing the hill.
Some minor concerns... for the units facing the hill:
- not enough sunlight since it is facing the north, and the air humidity is a little high in summer (not a problem but I personally prefer drier air);
- may have insect issues sometimes, such as paper wasps and big black ants, but the apartment offers adequate pest control appointments and the maintenance staff also respond quickly if it is urgent.
I toured 20+ one-bedroom apartments in Columbus before deciding on this one last year, and I still believe this is among the best I can get given the rental price. Read More

Worthington Gardens is a very friendly community to live in and it is the very best place I have lived in Columbus and I have lived in six different places in my 51 years as a resident in Columbus. The property manager is a very caring individual who is always willing to listen to her residents with what ever they have concerns over regarding their apartments.
The maintenance staff here is very caring as well and they take care of any issues that the residents have in a very timely manner. The... property manager's assistant is also very friendly. We love living here at Worthington Gardens! Living in both a one bedroom and two bedroom model has been a great experience. The location is amazing as it is a close walk to worthington and clintonville locations. The property is beautiful with nature and well maintained as well as the pool. The apartments are nice and are affordable. Cindy and management here do a great job at helping residents and maintaining the peaceful experience here.

I lived in a one-bedroom apartment here for three years. It was such a great place to live. Quiet. Centrally located. Great Management that is responsive and truly cares about their residents.

Maintenance Requests were satisfied within a day or two. Parking is easy. The pool is great. Spacious room and patio. There were no complaints in my entire three years here.

Would highly recommend it.

We’ve been living at Worthington Gardens for a year and a half and we love it. We will really miss living here once we relocate later this year.

Pros:
* Beautiful natural light if facing south
* Maintenance responds quickly
* Great experience with property management
* Spacious apartments
* No pests and property is very well maintained
* Large balcony
* Pool opened late into the season and clubhouse has wifi so you can work from there if needed
* Landscape is beautiful
* Generally quiet in... our experience
* Close to the bus stop
* Not far from downtown and amenities (Target, Kroger, Aldi, libraries, coffee shops, etc)
* Key fob to enter building
* Rent was not raised much at all after lease renewal

Cons:
* Our package was stolen in the past, but after management put cameras up in the mailrooms it doesn’t seem to be an issue.
* There have been car break-ins (like everywhere else in the city), but our cars have never been broken into. I have anxiety and never wanted to live on a lower floor, but I feel safe here.
* We sometimes hear our upstairs neighbors walking around and that doesn’t bother us, but we know some people are sensitive to that.
* High Street is busy so be careful as a pedestrian.
