Timber Creek Apartments

I live at Timber Creek currently, & have for a while. While the Shelter House(hardly ever used by residents) & Pet Park(niche offering being that MOST residents do not own dogs) are nice amenities, I do not understand the thought process of the owners spending money to add said amenities, before addressing the state of the apartments first & foremost. EVERY building needs updated. The exterior of the apartments just keeps getting more & more degraded as they have been neglected for so long.... There is mold on the siding(also needs repainted). The brick needs powerwashed. Newer updated shutters would be nice & if that's not an option, at least replace the warped/broken ones & paint them all the same unified color. All exterior doors need a new paint job. The trim around the doors & windows also needs repainted. Some updated mailboxes would be a plus, or even better, for security, locking mailboxes for each building. Some apartments have screen doors, but if you ask about getting one for your apartment, they aren't allowing any more to be installed. In the lease, it is stipulated that you have ALL white lined curtains for continuity. Yet some apartments, as mentioned, have screen doors. Some have gold metal apartment numbers, while others have simply stickers. I'm sorry, this looks so very tacky. The exterior light fixtures also differ. Where is Timber Creek's continuity? Matching upgraded MODERN light fixtures please! Updated unified landscaping would be a welcome bonus & would add so much to the aesthetics of the exterior. Besides the exterior issues, the washers & dryers in the on-site laundry keep breaking down & the laundry itself, has been shut down for over a month with no mention of when it will reopen. This is a major inconvenience. Just for reference to anyone reading this review, rent has increased twice in less than two years, with NO improvements to the apartments themselves. These are just SOME of the negatives. However, there are some positives. Those being that you are in a wooded setting which is peaceful, quiet, & serene. You also don't have to pay for water, trash, or gas heat. With all the upsides though, I have a feeling more & more people are going to be moving out, because frankly the state of the apartments is an embarrassment. No maintenance, no repairs, tried charging me to renovate the whole apartment after I moved out.

I moved here about 6 months ago and I have zero complaints. The apartment is nicely renovated, the neighbors are very friendly, and it's located on a quiet side street. It's also a plus that all utilities are included besides electric. Hands down the best apartments in the area.

I've lived here for almost a year and honestly love it. All the apartments are newly renovated. Clean and attractive. Neighborhood is quiet and friendly. It's a great place to live.

I apartments are lovely. The office staff wonderful. Just didn't meet our needs at this time will keep in mind for future.
