Most unethical business

Stayed there for 3 yrs, moved to month on month paying 150% of rent for last two months as we are planning to relocate and informed same to office.

After vacating, due to Auto pay setup we paid extra month in rent and Our apartment is maintained so clean that they cannot add any fine.

When asked for refund they simply came up with a fine of one month rent as a notice period which no one in office mentioned when we informed office about same. We asked office for policy of moveout in email and… never heard anything from them about the fine during our stay.

When asked for contact details to escalate the matter they simply ignored my emails.

This is very Unethical way of doing business.

Do not move here

I lived at this apartment complex for 15 months. I had a pet and paid the pet deposit and paid the pet rent every month. When I moved in I filled out a damages form and I marked that the carpet was old and stained when I moved in. Honestly could have been replaced before I moved in. I moved out mid January because I had purchased a home and never got anything else from the apartment complex. When I arrived home from vacation this past week I had a letter from a debt collector saying I owed $500… to Watkins Glen apartments. I never received anything prior to this from Watkins Glen. I contacted the apartment complex and she told me that the charges were for damage to the carpet because I had a pet. This is outrageous considering the carpet needed replaced when I moved in, I had a large area rug in the living room and they are in the process of remodeling the apartments anyways. Only reason I am being charged is because I had a pet and they think that they can get some more money out of me. Sent and email to someone else about it and haven’t heard anything back. Currently in the process of disputing this outrageous charge. I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone stay away.

Worst place I've ever lived

. I wish if I could give a 0 star rating to this property and business.
Very very bad experience.
Horrible community and staff. Very bad service and response.

Great value for a luxury apartment

Great price for a nice luxury apartment. Great location and close to restaurants and shopping. The pool and fitness center are really nice. Such a quiet and nice area. The maintenance is prompt and efficient. The front office staff are friendly and helpful. Overall the Watkins Glen Apartments are a great living environment
