VSF Sucks
I used to love it here.
New management has made too many little screw ups to count. Not giving notice before inspections, losing deposits, putting unrecognized charges on the bill and taking days to get them taken off, maintenance forgetting to finish jobs. Its the kind of things you'd brush off if it happens once but eventually they add up. Not to mention that the phone number sends you to a stupid phone bank in god knows where, so it feels impossible to get a hold of anyone.
Previous... management was great. The rent was extremely affordable and included gas and water. VSF? They not only increased our rent by $100, they added a $150 "utility convenience fee," so our rent went up effectively by $250 a month.
And to top it off, now they've decided for some reason that they want to get rid of the geese and ducks. Y'know, the thing that all the reviews on here say make this place special and unique? (There's literally a goose/duck on the sign when you enter the property btw lol) Again, its a little thing, and its their property now so they can do what they want, but its just another sign they aren't really interested in maintaining this place as a community.
So long story short: Move to Eastpointe if you want to live in feel more like part of someone's investment portfolio than a member of a community.
