You can probably do better
I lived here for 2 years. The apartments are cozy with lots of windows and natural light but are also old and a bit worn down. Thankfully, the maintenance staff is very prompt at fixing issues when they come up. There is no AC, so it gets pretty toasty in the summers. The 2nd year my apartment on the ground floor was burglarized (someone managed to pry a screen and then a window open from the outside while I was gone for a July 4th weekend) and a bunch of valuables were stolen. The window was... 5-6 feet from the ground, so they must've been desperate. After that, I was reluctant to leave my windows open when I was home to air out the place, which made it almost unbearable if the temps went up above 80F. Also, during my 2nd year there, a couple of pot smokers moved in and proceeded to stink up the hallway 5-6 times a week. I don't care what people do behind closed doors but I would've preferred to not smell weed all the time . Needless to say, I couldn't wait to move out when my lease was up and find a newer apartment with better neighbors, better amenities and in a safer neighborhood.
