Hutchison Place

I have lived here for three years and I love it! The units are modern and the property is well kept. The staff are all extremely nice and helpful. If you’re looking for an affordable place to live with great amenities, this is the place to check out!

I am looking for an apartment and a friend lives here. I have tried to apply and tour an apartment 3 times this week and no one is ever in the office. Monday at lunch, Monday at around 4:00 (maybe they are closed on Monday?) and then again Tuesday at lunch time. Very poor management practices so I am looking somewhere else.

We moved into Hutchison Place in August '22 and signed a six-month lease. Overall, we managed, but we wouldn't have chosen to live there any longer.

Although the community is located in a quiet and convenient area, and there is access to a 24-hour gym, there are several negatives that outweigh the positives.

Firstly, as mentioned in other reviews, the apartments are poorly constructed with thin walls that make it possible to hear everything your neighbors are doing.

Additionally, the water... quality is subpar and often appears chalky and milky.

During our one and only snowstorm, despite the inclusion of snow removal services in our monthly charges, the sidewalks and parking areas were not cleared.

Moreover, dog poop is a common sight, which is more of an issue with residents' irresponsibility. However, we noticed that management took no steps to encourage cleanliness or responsibility among tenants.

We also noticed constant towing of residents' cars, which was often done with little explanation from management.

Finally, we observed frequent management changes during our stay, which seemed to impact how things were managed.

Although we were able to overlook most of these issues during our stay, as they are relatively minor, there are better options available for the price paid. We would suggest exploring other options before signing a lease. Read More

I will say that I loved living in this apartment complex. I’m young so I understand that apartment living is not always peace and quiet and that was just fine. The pool is so nice. The small gym, it’s great. Dog park? Awesome. BUT, this apartment complex has the POOREST management I have EVER dealt with. Since I had lived there (one year) they had been through three different managements and they all seem incompetent. I wish I had known this before signing a lease. If you email them, you won’t... get a response until you have to be “that person” and send about 2 or 3 to get them to respond. They don’t answer the phones. It has been 100 days since I left… still not security deposit back even though the lease stated after 30 days of vacancy. I’m surprised they have not been sued (unfortunately I don’t have the money for that, which I’m assuming that’s why bc most people don’t.) Dont try reaching out to maintaince, they hire whoever wants the job, and they will NOT fix anything for you until again, you call 3 or 4 times and then they leave a mess in your apartment (peeing in your toilets and leaving them not flushed.) I bought a house and still had 3 months of my lease left. The last month of my lease I called and told them I’d be late on rent and they said that was fine as long as I paid by the 15th yet they proceeded to put an eviction notice on my door, called me and emailed me to let me know they were filing an eviction and it wasn’t even the 15th of the month yet.
