Terrible Management, Avoid At Any Cost

The epitome of you get what you pay for. The best thing about the apartments is the relative low cost but with that comes terrible management. Some examples of a few low-lights are:

Not answering their main phone line often and making up for it by having a poor response time on there main website. Apart of larger issue dealing with very poor communication.

Conducting electrical work unannounced and not patching the resulting holes in the wall. In a much later response, they said "tenants… should call a schedule a 3rd party to get holes fixed." Mice then found there way through holes in wall.

Dated air conditioning units which will not work when outside temperature reaches 70 or above.

Closets that will fall out of their hinges.

Laundry equipment that often breaks and holds water.

Many potholes throughout parking lots and driving paths.

This is one of many complexes I have rented from in my life and hands down the worst one I've lived in.

This property is terrible

Can’t have your own grill. Maintenance is terrible which is unfortunate because everything is old and breaks frequently. The leasing office is worse, that’s if you’re lucky enough to get in touch with someone. I highly recommend trying somewhere else.

DON’T DO IT

Place is very misleading at the start. Serious pest issue. They will remove animals but not find preventative solutions for future. Therefore the issue occurs several times. Won’t even respond to water leaking issues until DAYS later. Expect terrible service. Expect to handle all issues on your own. Do not recommend.

Great Apartments

These apartments are great. I've lived here for 5 months now and haven't had any issues. It was very clean when I moved in and they keep the snow shoveled and parking lots salted in the winter. There is quite a bit of storage space which is really nice. You can't really beat the price for this quality of apartments. Plus they have an app that you can do service requests and pay your rent through. I would highly recommend Meadowbrook Lake Apartments.

Best bang for your buck

Being a female in her early 20's living on her own (well, with a dog), is stressful when it comes time for apartment hunting. I chose Meadowbrook Lake Apartments for the low rent, location, and atmosphere. I could not be happier with this apartment -- sure, there is no dishwasher, and no laundry hookups. But if you don't mind slumming it with paper plates or doing your own dishes every once in a while it's no big deal. There are windows on both sides of the apartment, making for a very light and… open atmosphere, and breezy summer days are all the more enjoyable. There is a great deal of grassy space, ideal for walking pets or general exploration. Personally I think they could benefit from a dog park in lieu of the playground, but there are plenty of options within the area for dog parks. Everything you could need is within about 8 miles, and my experience with neighbors has been nothing but pleasant. I would highly recommend this apartment complex.
