Flats at Norman Apartments

The Flats at Norman has been a great experience, moving in was nice and easy. They offer many amenities such as WiFi, a gym, pool, and study areas. It is by far, one of the MOST affordable places to live at, especially for students. I highly recommend checking this place out, they host social events that give people the chance to connect and reach out. The leasing office is responsive and helpful if there is any trouble. Its a welcoming place live at and so close to campus!

I just moved into The Flats and what an amazing experience! Move-in was super easy from start to finish. The staff had everything perfectly organized, making it so easy and stress-free. Everyone is so nice, whether it was the leasing team, maintenance crew, or even other residents, everyone was welcoming and ready to help. My apartment was clean and move-in ready, having everything furnished made it even easier to settle in. The location is perfect too, just blocks from OU.

This is a very peaceful, quiet, and safe environment. The staff are extremely responsive—I’ve had a few issues, and each time they addressed them right away. I really appreciate their support. The flats themselves are nice and spacious, and overall I’m having a very good experience living here. Honestly, everything you need is available, which makes it a comfortable place to live.

Ever since I moved in we have had a constant roach problem along with never ending problems with our washer and dryer. We would request something get fixed and they would come and the problem would disappear for a day and then immediately come back. Not only that but I have tried consistently to add my card to the auto pay system but it will just get taken off without my doing and then when my payment is late because of that I get a $125 fee.

I was charged $160 for a full room paint and carpet cleaning fee even though there were no damages. I asked for the pictures they took, and I found out they were lying about the damages they reported to my room. Luckily I took pictures before I left to prove them wrong. Overall this was the worst experience I had while staying here. PS: They make you pay $15 for wifi that sucks. They also won't fix it as it's 'out of their control.'
