I Am A Return Resident: Great Location, Quiet and Great Floorplans with Attentive Management
I lived here during my college days in the late 80's and was thrilled to see a unit available when I needed one last year. I lived in a remodeled two bedroom/one bath for over a year and loved every single moment of it! The location is so quiet for being that close to Cherry Street. I loved having the Saturday Farmer's Market just a few feet from my door. The drive-thru driveway was excellent for those times when I was going out of town and needed to pull my car up to the backdoor and pack it.... There is one large dumpster at the back end of the property and it was always clean and dumped at least once a week. There was never trash piled up there or near anyone's door. The neighbors were all professional people and I made a few long-time friends while living there this time. The unit I lived in had hardwood floors, I think all the units do, and when anyone came to visit me they commented on how nice the floors were. The living room was large enough for my couch, a recliner, two tables and my giant TV. The bedrooms easily held my queen bed and office furniture. The kitchen had new floor tile, beautiful cabinets, and a cute mini-stove that worked GREAT with gas heat. The management was off-site (which I prefer) but if I ever needed anything I sent a text to Melissa and she responded within minutes and was extremely attentive to any need I had. One time I texted her after midnight to report that the lights had gone out in the entry way in the front of the building and the porch light at the back was out. She replied immediately and said thank you and the next morning the lights were on. I had zero noise complaints while I lived there. The apartment had no issues and for being built in 1949, they are sturdy and VERY well kept. For the price and location, I'd go back there in a heartbeat. Definitely put these on your list and give Melissa a call!
