Lakewood Gardens

Saw a townhouse that apparently had been recently vacated and we needed to move in a month later. Liked the location but the place had destroyed cabinets and was dirty. We were promised it would be clean and with new cabinets by move in day (a month later). On paper it looked great, gated community, assigned parking right in front of our door and dedicated maintenance. None of it was true.

Come move in, apartment was still dirty, bathrooms had not even been cleaned, cabinets were still messed... up, and they doubled assigned parking spots so we were left to park in the opposite end of the complex. Since, we have been assigned 3 different parking spots, all of which have been later assigned to someone else. We had a broken pipe in our bathroom under the sink which took all of 3 weeks to fix. Leaking sink took 5 months to replace. A.C. barely works and they won't fix it. Gate is always broken so it might as well not be "gated," and there was even a shooting here.

If you think this sounds much like the worst case scenario for a living place, it's because it is!!!!!

Do yourself a favor and do NOT move in here! We cannot wait till we move out. Oh did I mention the internet is very intermittent here. Not their fault but huge inconvenient if you use the internet or like netflix. Read More

When looking for a place to live after college me and my girlfriend had a pretty hard time finding the right place to live! Then we discovered Lakewood Gardens which didn't have a lot of information about it online or any reviews what so ever. We decided to set up a tour and check out the property and instantly knew this would be our new home! We've lived here for a year now and have enjoyed many great things! Currently reside in a townhome which is big and affordable. On the property we have... used the pool very frequently, along with the gym! Very convent location as well! Lakewood Gardens is a relaxing, quiet place to live. Everyone who lives here is friendly. The common areas are well kept and the staff is always eager to help. There are two pools, a workout room, grilling stations and on-site laundry facilities. The property is very pet friendly, which is great for the furry members of our family. We are also very close to public transportation, shopping and restaurants.

I currently stay in a two bedroom townhouse. They offer one and two bedroom apartments along with the town homes. I have had a few issues while living here. One being that my bathroom flooded and my air went out, but the maintenance team arrived within 15 mins of each issue after reporting the issue. They were able to get my air back running and saved my home from severe water damage. The lawn is always maintained and the two pools are constantly being cleaned. I love the fact that they are pet... friendly considering I have a small Maltese. All tenants are required to have rental insurance but they offer it thru them which is only 15 dollars a month. The cost is affordable and communication is great. I recently had a medical scare and was diagnosed with tumors on my colon and the office staff have been very supportive. I have very few family members here so the support have been great.
The only few things that have been a slight turn off have been the large dogs that I know they are unaware of. The owners of these dogs seem to run them out at night to use the restroom and don't pick it up. The facility offer a 50 dollar reward for reporting these types of issues but I never get the chance to see where they live to report it. Plus who couldn't use a extra 50 dollars. Read More
