The rest of the house is lightly furnished and ready to go: fully stocked kitchen in great condition with new appliances including lots of storage, double ovens, induction range, and two refrigerators for plenty of space. Great space for someone who likes to cook. Dining room attached to kitchen, living room with large sectional and 75" TV, in-home washer/dryer/dishwasher, lots of inside and outside storage, and front and back yard with an outdoor patio and Blackstone grill.
I'm a guy in my mid-30s, split my time between work in Salem and family caregiving in Corvallis. I spend my off hours cooking (I like feeding people), catching Blazers games, and working on the garden or finding a new hike. Easygoing, tidy, and I keep to a respectful rhythm at home. I'd love to find an older student or young professional who's friendly, respectful, and cleans up after themselves. It's a very easygoing household but finding people who will contribute to keeping the place clean is non-negotiable. No smoking inside.
Location is great if you're studying or working in the area — 5 minute walk to LBCC, about 20 minutes to OSU, and roughly 30 from Salem. Several parks nearby and highly convenient to anywhere in the Willamette Valley.
Rent: $700/month + utilities (Internet, electric, water/sewer/garbage split evenly, — usually lands between $80–$120/mo total depending on the time of year).
