I knew I would love this community before I even moved in. The condition of the apartment, clubhouse, pool, fitness center, and overall grounds is 5 STAR! The maintenance crew take really good care of the grounds. I see them every morning picking up any trash in the parking lot and I know they do so much more to make this a great place to live. The management has always been great. They have recently been doing a lot of fun activities like wine tasting, massage, pumpkin hunting, and pet of the... month. Like any other apartment complex, you might get a nosy or annoying neighbor but when complaints are voiced, they actually listen to you and do something about it. As long as they don't keep upping the rent, I will live here for a long time.

Property Manager at Devonshire Manor responded to this review
Hi, thank you for your kind review; we are happy to pass along your comments to the team here at Devonshire Manor Apartments! Our team takes pride in caring for the community, both the property itself and our residents and we are pleased to hear you... have experienced that!
We understand rent increases are not a fan-favorite, but they are an industry standard that allows properties to be able to continue to afford the rising costs of labor, materials, taxes, etc. that all go into maintaining our beautiful community.
If you ever need anything from us, please feel free to give us a call or stop by the office. Have an awesome day!

I have been living here for many years and the staff is always helpful and above all, very friendly! This apartment complex is kept nice and clean as well as extremely orderly. If something needs maintenance, they are quick to get it fixed. I wouldn't live anywhere else!

If you happen to be someone looking to lease with more than one motor vehicle, I would recommend that you continue to elsewhere. Over the last few months the towing company working with Devonshire Manor has been obsessive over patrolling and towing vehicles "at the owners expense." You will receive your single parking space as per the agreement and all other vehicles will be stuck parking on the street due to a lack of adequate parking spaces. Alone these minor inconveniences could be ignored,... but together its just criminal. Tired of walking multiple blocks to your apartment with groceries? Thinking you might be able to park nearby for 10 minutes just to take them upstairs, get towed. Need to pick someone up who decided to have a conversation with you? Get towed. Have someone else come to your apartment to pick you up and you didn't drop everything to sprint outside and leave? They have been towed. What is your recourse, there is no recourse, come back with an attorney. People park illegally on the street blocking your view as you exit the apartment complex, apparently not their problem. Unless you enjoy living in a constant state of fear that your car could be towed at any moment by a company that has become predatory in nature over the course of the last 5 months, don't live here.
