Worst Apartment Renting Experience Ever
I lived in the Andy for 2 years. As soon as I moved in I had some worries, it looked like people online said they weren't getting deposits back and that Von Klein was trying to come after them for more than the deposit. Not to mention the 3rd and 4th floor have no buzz in system, our thermostat was broken, TV had no remote... Countless problems. After 3 months most of that was fixed, not the buzz in system though. To that day it's still broken. In my second year of living there the Andy was... bought out by Bridge Property Management out of Portland. I thought they might actually do better. They're worse. They have an onsite manager who just lives there for free and does absolutely nothing. She is really good at "Oh man we'll try and fix that", it's almost impressive. Now that we've finally moved out of that trash pit, we're getting told we never even paid a deposit. Also.. 26$ for a TV remote that wasn't ever there, and that I had to buy myself off Amazon. $150 to move a couch a couple of feet. and almost $400 to paint.. The Andy is subpar in living conditions, terrible response from management, shady tactics in move out costs, and horrible in ease of access for guests. If it wasn't located near the campus a business ran that poorly would be out of business.
