Highland View Apartments

This apartment was overpriced when we leased in 2021, but the prices are rising even higher with no apparent value being returned to the tenants.

Landscaping is done rarely, some features of the apartment are flawed in ways that can’t be fixed by maintenance and apparently the owners occasionally walk around looking for reasons to flex their authority over tenants who are just trying to make the space usable for themselves.

Wow they must’ve picked the best pictures to post because most of the apartments do not look like that, just the upgraded ones. Even the outside doesn’t look that fresh it’s so run down here. I was told i was getting an upgraded apartment when I put in my application (my downstairs neighbor was as well) for an increased rent but upon signing my lease i saw it was the lower amount of rent and when i walked in it was the older model. There is constantly huge puddles that make it difficult to get... into your apartment without getting soaked. I had to ask for gripping to be put on the PAINTED stairs (not concrete, slippery painted wood)you would think in Portland with all the rain it would be common sense but nope not here. There’s no way the gaps in between the stairs and on the balcony are kid safe. The storage space is laughable, you have one closet by the front door and just a stand alone sink with storage under in the bathroom, barely any cabinets in the kitchen. There’s nothing here no gym, no pool, no benches in the grass. There’s no type of security ,there’s always homeless people in the trash cans. My lease is up in a few months and i cannot wait to get out here. Definitely not a good experience for my first apartment. Read More

Nice place, the apartments are on the smaller end not much storage. Master bedroom is pretty big with walk in closet , bathroom it nice on the but cramped. Definitely a great first apartment type situation. Floor apartment price is high would definitely recommend and upstairs if your by yourself or don’t have kids. Love the first 2 pets rent free. Don’t see the manager as much in the office as you would think you would especially with him living onsite.

Having been here for years let me tell you. This place is great if you want trash in your yard or blowing around. Car broken into with no security footage what so ever. Or if you are just looking for a stash house. This place is number one!!
