Terrible place to live

I absolutely regret moving here. The landlord seemed nice, but now he's nowhere to be seen and everything is falling apart for everyone. I'm hearing neighbors complain about appliances not working, things being incomplete, and the contracted workers literally leaving garbage everywhere.

Dumpsters where people are throwing away things that they shouldn't, and the landlord's solution is to just threaten people to absolve their lease, but he hasn't actually done anything to clean it out. I can't...
take out any of my recycling because the recycling bin is overly full, because it hasn't been emptied in weeks, because the landlord isn't actually doing anything other than slinging threats.

I thought that I was paying for an apartment with working appliances, and they're not working. On top of that I was told that a service person was coming to fix things, and when I called that service person they said that they don't even do that kind of work.

I'm stuck in a year lease now.
Don't make the same mistake.
