Bad management, never in the office, doesn't fix any issues, as well as basic maintenance in the units. It's not gated or doesn't have security cameras, the neighbors are awful, water is getting shut off for maintenance over a dozen times since the first of the year. Not enough parking. Rent keeps increasing with no improvements to the units. Office hours were cut but it doesn't matter because it's always closed anyways. Your outside property gets messed with by the kids. I had my antenna... completely bent over because a kid wanted my antenna ball. (That I can't replace as they aren't made anymore the specific one I had) the maintenance guys take a million trips to fix something such as turning up the heat on the hot water tank. Outside maintenance "just looked busy" always tweakers and homeless people hanging out around the dumpster!! Almost hit someone with a trashbag a few times. Right next to a 24 hour gas station where people think it's cool to Rev their engines at anytime during the day and the night. This place is definitely a last resort and last option type of place. Fircrest is a place you should avoid if possible-I know it’s the cheapest in town so I understand the appeal for sure. However, the manager currently, Melody will make you want to rip your hair out and I am normally extremely patient with people and this is the only bad review I’ve ever taken the time to write but I think people need to know before going to live here, she invades privacy, knocks on your day at least twice a week for the dumbest things like to see if whoever was speeding (over... 5mph) is with you so she can tell them to slow down, after we moved out she charged us for damages that were already there and we had the paper work from the previous manager to show it. She also came over at one point several different times to tell me my daughter “vandalized” the property BY DRAWING WITH CHALK ON THE SIDEWALK. Even after I scrubbed it clean and it had rained she told me she would charge me. She would be extremely quick to send out notices to everyone about new rules like hanging out in the stair wells or not having pets out, (she made our neighbor put her cat ON A LEASH and threatened to kick her out and she’s in her 70s) but when it came to fixing something takes forever. If you are looking for a country place to live then this is the place for you. It is at the edge of town but close enough to town to be convenient. It is close to the river and close to the mountains. The apartments are two bedroom one bath with washer and dryer hook up at a very reasonable price. The grounds are tidy and clean & the apartments are in great shape. The sunsets are amazing & the lifestyle out here is very laid-back.
