We are looking for a housemate or a couple to move into our shared townhouse in South Portland with us!

About the room
1 basement unit in a split-level... townhouse. You will have your own private bathroom, private living room, storage space, and a bedroom. You will share a kitchen, dining space, garage, and laundry facilities above ground.

Rent is $1,200 a month, plus utilities, for a 12-month lease (month to month not available). $900 security deposit upfront. Available NOW!

About us
You will be sharing the townhouse with 3 other residents. We include a couple and me. We are all in our late-20s/early-30s. We work in a variety of different jobs (healthcare, bus driving, and research). I work from home 100%. My two other housemates work variable hours and are students so they are in and out of the house throughout the day. Our rooms are in the top floor of the house so you will not share any walls or hear any noise from us. If you move in there will be a minimum of 4 residents in this townhouse, so we believe in communicating any issues especially around the use and sharing of the common spaces or appliances (kitchen, washer/dryer). All of us cook and the kitchen is in use everyday, throughout the day. We practice “clean as you go,” and want housemates who will do the same. Generally we are all living our own lives but are friendly with each other (we talk about our days, we share food) and are looking for someone to match that energy.

About you
We are looking for a thoughtful and clean housemate (either a solo person or a couple), who ideally gels well with the three of us. If you WFH, you should fit right in — we have amazing internet. We want you to participate with us in running the house (emptying garbage, bringing in mail, vacuuming, etc.). Cats are allowed but must stay in their rooms! We are open to any age group but believe that someone close to our ages may best mesh with us. We are prioritizing folks who have only 1 vehicle as parking is limited in our area for the moment.


About the area
The neighborhood is generally low-key with some good coffee shops (Harder Day, JoLa, Ross Island) and breweries just a 5-min drive down the road on Corbett or Macadam. We are close to a lot of destinations: downtown Portland, PSU, Sellwood, Ladd’s Addition, OHSU, Multnomah Village etc. Easy access to I-5 freeway.
