Amazing Old Portland Charm
I have lived in many apartments in Portland over the last 13 years and would say that the Imperial Arms was by far the best experience. A lovely, well cared for building, with all the charms of old portland: clawfoot tub, french doors, mini balcony and lots of light from large windows. Management was always quick to respond and I never lacked for much of anything. Being it a downtown apartment, you have shared mail area, laundry and garbage, but that is expected. Parking is difficult, but again... it is downtown - you can walk everywhere. Only heard my above neighbors once in a while and never my side neighbors. After a couple years here, I would say it is the best old Portland charm building you can find that is still nicely kept and affordable.
