Overlook Park Apartments

When I moved in 2018 this place was great. Nona and Kylee were onsite and things were spectacular. When they left things rapidly went downhill and since the impacts of the pandemic the building has been sorely neglected. The building gets broken into on a regular basis. Bikes and packages have been stolen and cars in the garage broken into. The TV in the lobby has been stolen multiple times and the espresso machine was also stolen. The elevator breaks down more than any elevator I have seen... before. The trash is only in the garage and is frequently overflowing. Pet urine stains are on every floor and remained there for almost 2 years after the start of Covid. I had a hole in my bedroom ceiling from a building leak for over 1.5 years due to the constant turnover of staff. The exterior of the building has never been cleaned and many residents smoke on the patios and balconies. The property management is constantly turning over and does not respond or is slow to respond to emails, calls, or even tickets. The location and building is great. However, the management has been regularly absent and incompetent. If you're considering living in the building, do your research by stopping a resident to ask them about their experience living in the building and their opinion of management.

Nona in the leasing office was second to none. She took care of me *and* she took care of existing tenants...while making each of us feel like we were the only people in the office.

There are a LOT of new apartments in Portland. Few of them, though, have such a strong combination of location, amenities, and customer service. - Overlook Park is definitely worth a look.
