    Going on 3 years.

I have lived here for a little over 3 years in a studio. It's in a terrible area, but I feel safe when I am home. I live on the bottom level so my door goes directly outside. I have liked it a lot here. Angelie, the apartment manager, has been very kind and helpful in every circumstance. Easy to approach, easy to get ahold of, and solves problems quickly. The tenants here are interesting, very diverse, but not bothersome. This was the first apartment Ive ever lived in alone and I am very glad I chose it. I love having a washer/dryer in unit and I am the only one of my friends who has AC so its awesome when its super hot in the summer. I love my big windows and wood floors. I have plenty of space, and its animal friendly which is crucial to me - I have a pit bull and 2 cats. I wont lie, maintenance isn't the best (he tries to fix things and it usually will fail... like fixing a drawer that fell apart with shoe glue and then it fell apart that same night). I recommend my apartment to everyone as long as they don't mind the bad area. I definitely see syringes and have seen people shooting up across the street when I walk my dog... but it's NE Portland. It's a problem everywhere. Anyways. I recommend it here.
