You're not paying much
And let's be honest, you get what you pay for. SMI, the company that owns this place is very low key and hands off. They won't bother you for silly things like keeping an animal when you're not supposed to, so I guess that's a plus, but their building is so far away, it's inconvenient to drop off the rent check each month.
For the place itself, the building is falling apart piece by piece, and you have to sign a lead and asbestos waiver to move in because of it. Repairs are quick to be made,... but that doesn't stop the fact that they should just remodel the whole complex. At least you're not paying an arm and a leg. It's a cheap little place in a -usually - quiet neighborhood and the location is fantastic.
